I barely won few games since the update. The opponent AI players have insane speed and pressure, marking all my players. I don't have enough time to react, pass and to drible. The opponent selected player moves în the same time and direction with my player, blocking my player. How it is possible for a opponent human 500km away to anticipate al my player moves? It seems the AI is controling even the opponent selected player. The AI is forcing the opponent victory no matter how skilled I am and how good I play. Let's say I score a goal, the intensity of opponent pressure towards my team will increase and he will score right after my goal. Let's say I play perfectly and avoid all tackles and manage to keep the ball, guess what, the AI decides that my player to make a wrong pass straight to the opponent. More over sometimes I feels like I play the bots enitirely în division rivals. Also another question is, if the motion (match game display) is the same on opponent screen as on my screen even the score. As sometimes AI or opponent pause the game and after the pause I receive a goal no matter how hard I defend. Seems as an adjustment to the corect score. In my opinion the game is controled 80% by the bot (AI). The overpowered AI favouring only one side makes the game frustrating unenjoyable and doesn't reward skills and football vision. It seems unrealistic. Fairplay is missing and only business counts. You make the conclusions.

In my opinion they're intentionally making the gameplay poor and switching the "Meta" to try and drive people towards the store. The most recent example is how they spent a good month releasing paid evos and promo cards that had trivela and trivela+ because it was an overpowered game mechanic (For me it was WAY better being overpowered than completely useless like it is now) so it drove people towards the store to try and get those cards with those playstyles....Then they nerfed it into the ground making most of those cards unusable and they shift the gameplay towards auto pressing and bouncebacks with more and more players having 2 playstyle+ through more paid evos and promos, which in turn makes those players more overpowered in the new "Meta". So it's just a constant cycle of pushing players towards a certain type of play, releasing loads of promo cards and paid evos that suit that style of play, then changing the gameplay again to do it all over again.Honestly, i wish people (And that includes content creators) would stop buying store packs and stop doing paid evos. They're making record profits so in their eyes (Understandably, money is the main aim of any business) they've made a good product. In reality, they've made a product so poor that people feel like they have to pay for add-ons in order to advance.

@Gamee232323 The online player rate is significantly droppin. Where there use to be over 70 k during peak hours there are now around 50k. This means that u are facing the hardcore players of this game. Which equals sweaty matches.On the other hand as iam reading your post it could be a connection problem. As your Ai can do the excact same thing when you have a 100% good connection.If you dont see your ai making runs to defend its more then likely you are on a slow server or your connection isnt as good as your opponent.How weird this may sound. Try avoiding peak hours as the servers cant even hold a player base around 50k.You can check steam stats to see how many players are online.

@sniperfox29 Mate I had a game in Rivals yesterday where I had a higher XG, more posession, more shots, more tackles, more passes etc... and I lost 9-1.I had 5ft3 women outjumping Van Dijk for headers, 40 yard volleyed powershots going through my entire team, I was making tackles 30 yards out and the ball was rebounding 30 yards into the top corner.I'm fairly certain the person I was playing was a hacker but there's no option to report them in-game other than their team name and when you report them on the online form, EA never take any action too. So if he was a hacker he's just going to keep doing that to people over and over and ruining their progress in rivals / champs.The game is completely broken beyond repair I think. I would say stop playing for rewards / progression etc.. and just play to have fun but in all honesty it's impossible to have fun when there's so much in the game that's broken and so unfairly balanced

You cannot pass your way through, even high balls are intercepted unless you get lucky, because the pressure is immense and the opponents players just ALWAYS seem to get to the ball first.

I look at the map and everyone is tightly marked so I try to trigger runs and then pass, but thats if I don’t get tackled by the opponents player charging at me like a raging bull.

I'm actually wondering if anyone at this company has even seen a game of football in their life, let alone play a game

it's clear they have zero idea how fouls or offsides actual work
It's clear they have no idea about how a player would actually react to things
Hell, it's clear they have no idea how the laws of physics work

Unless, of course, they do, and ignore them so they can have a cheating scripted AI that screws you over at every point because god forbid they actually make a smart AI

@Starscreamdali I concur with what you said about connect affecting team ai. I used to have 2ms and then all of a sudden I am connecting to Spain when I have a game centre here in Africa, in my city to make it worse. My ai defenders just spectat..I have to do every thing at 80-102ms. I quit.

I have this situation in fc mobile. I notice the A.i is for reason able to send defenders straight into the opposing team goal square, but as I don't use auto my defenders are still in the midfield while their Strikers are miles in front leaving Goalie unattended, so my defenders go into flash gear to catch up and make an attempt as blocking. But when a player disconnects from the game thier A.I become ametur weak or freeze, great for me keep playing. I also think my team looses all it skill in H2H matches, but plays awesome in Ai matches. I think its just H2h matches that the game is messed up.

@BanesSolace It is boring and I hate it because I don't use auto play as for some reason my Ai auto is * maybe it's my settings idk. But if I play boring I just hope the opposing player just rage quits, so I can make scores again. It's sad play, I know but it beats A.i style players in h2h.

Totally agree with this, you simply can't play on Xbox, input lag all the time. The passing is awful, the press takes it off you before the Xbox registers your input, you can't shoot or pass first time. It's just unplayable. There's so many issues in this games. Offsides are awful, from the attacking AI literally standing offside 80% of attacks for both teams. I've passed the ball back and been called offside. The views for free kicks is awful. Some bloke took a free kick against me and I couldn't see my goal line. How can you move someone on the line? Most free kick views are awful. I don't think the game is savable. You can't play coop anymore for any time as it starts crashing out from kick off. It's December and still not fixed
