@Gamee232323 The online player rate is significantly droppin. Where there use to be over 70 k during peak hours there are now around 50k. This means that u are facing the hardcore players of this game. Which equals sweaty matches.
On the other hand as iam reading your post it could be a connection problem. As your Ai can do the excact same thing when you have a 100% good connection.
If you dont see your ai making runs to defend its more then likely you are on a slow server or your connection isnt as good as your opponent.
How weird this may sound. Try avoiding peak hours as the servers cant even hold a player base around 50k.
You can check steam stats to see how many players are online.

I'm actually wondering if anyone at this company has even seen a game of football in their life, let alone play a game

Unless, of course, they do, and ignore them so they can have a cheating scripted AI that screws you over at every point because god forbid they actually make a smart AI- @sniperfox29 Mate I had a game in Rivals yesterday where I had a higher XG, more posession, more shots, more tackles, more passes etc... and I lost 9-1.
I had 5ft3 women outjumping Van Dijk for headers, 40 yard volleyed powershots going through my entire team, I was making tackles 30 yards out and the ball was rebounding 30 yards into the top corner.
I'm fairly certain the person I was playing was a hacker but there's no option to report them in-game other than their team name and when you report them on the online form, EA never take any action too. So if he was a hacker he's just going to keep doing that to people over and over and ruining their progress in rivals / champs.
The game is completely broken beyond repair I think. I would say stop playing for rewards / progression etc.. and just play to have fun but in all honesty it's impossible to have fun when there's so much in the game that's broken and so unfairly balanced
- @Starscreamdali I concur with what you said about connect affecting team ai. I used to have 2ms and then all of a sudden I am connecting to Spain when I have a game centre here in Africa, in my city to make it worse. My ai defenders just spectat..I have to do every thing at 80-102ms. I quit.
