Urgent: Connectivity Issues in Weekend League and Rivals - Need Immediate Help

Dear EA Team and Community,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out to express a critical issue that I, along with many others, have been experiencing in EAFC 24. The connectivity problems during Weekend League matches and Rivals games have reached a breaking point for me and are severely impacting my gameplay experience.
I have a high speed internet.

Consistently, during the Weekend League, I encounter frequent disconnections mid-game, resulting in frustrating losses and an inability to complete matches. Additionally, in Rivals matches, the red connectivity bar persists, indicating ongoing connection issues that severely hamper my ability to compete at my best.


Moreover, beyond connectivity issues, I have noticed significant gameplay disruptions. There are instances where my players seem unresponsive, akin to moving like rocks on the field. Despite my efforts to remedy the situation by changing formations or pausing and unpausing the game, the problem persists. 

I want to emphasize that these issues have persisted for several weeks, and despite my efforts to troubleshoot on my end, the problems persist unabated. As a dedicated player who competes in Division 3 and values fair and enjoyable gameplay, I am reaching out to implore EA to address these issues promptly.


I understand that technical challenges may arise, but the consistency and severity of these issues are untenable for the community. As passionate players, we invest time and resources into EAFC 24, and we deserve a gameplay experience that reflects that commitment.

Therefore, I kindly request immediate action from the EA team to investigate and resolve these connectivity and gameplay issues. Your swift attention to this matter would not only alleviate the frustrations of many players but also demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high-quality gaming experience.

  • My Internet connection is 225/40 i do not have  any problems with online activities - streaming films, playing other online games, i regularly- every day - test my connection and go to match reports (help.ea.com) and I STILL CAN SEE YELLOW AND RED ICONS IN MY RIGHT UPPER CORNER. 
    Can someone tell me how is it possible? 
    I changed all the settings to avoid delays and i still see red and yellow icons telling me my connection is bad. I would like to know how is it possible?

    They are having problems with servers from South Africa not sure if you are from that area. 

    Try running the connection score with match history here and see if you are having problems. You can also run the game with the input overlay see if you are having delay.

    You can try the connection faq here and see if it helps. The last guy showed the tests to his isp and they fixed it for him. If enough people report it it could also be a server problem.

    @RadioShaqs I am not from South Africa, i live near the EA server in Warsaw. I read match reports every day and they say - ok, not great, not excellent - as it was in old FIFA 23 where the gameplay was much better. I obviously read the faq and talk to my isp as almost everybody i have done everything. I changed the cables, i pay more for the internet so it is faster than it was when I played Fifa 23. Now that half of the people resigned, and the game should not freeze due to server overload, EA FC 24 freezes several time during one day. This Game Made my console ps5 go completly unresponsive so i had to pull the plug.
