I'm now going to lock this thread as it contains misinformation. The outcome of games is dependent on personal skill. It is not manipulated by the game as is being suggested.
EA have clearly done something my gameplay is pretty normal now apart from a few moments of delay.
It's like a different game, 50/50s are now 50/50 even offline on squad battles I play legendary, all players take better touches" Mainly get the ball out of their feet and move foward" Sprinting has never been as easy " Double tap or analogue in the right positions and I'm away".
My opponents make mistakes, it must have been so easy playing against me before they couldn't make a mistake, couldn't miss a tackle and were clearly far stronger and faster than my players.
It's a different game nothing like what I've been playing all year.
Would be better for EA to tell us what they have done, because I've never seem so many reports of people getting the opposite/Bad gameplay.
And for the people thats had bad gameplay all year and still do, maybe uninstall and try again, make sure and clear storage " I'm on Xbox" . " I didn't have to do any of this but something has changed.

It was great while it lasted but I don't even need to go online to tell the bad gameplay is back.
First 5mins in squad battles and I could tell, what a waste of space this game is.
Back to terrible touches, cpu can't miss a tackle " Will be the same online" Shots and passes don't want to reach the target.
Being out paced and out muscled all the time.
This game is everything football doesn't stand for. How could it ever be fair.
I don't need the connection/ all I my head answer we seen all the posts online since the latest update.
If EA can't make a fair game then don't release it.
Played another squad battles match then had to turn the game off " I won 5-1" My AI are none existent, I can't actually move away from defenders " That's probably why offline and online my opponents can't miss a tackle"
But i still dont know why my opponents automatically move into my attackers and get the ball with 100% success.
When the gameplay works even good tackles against me could sometimes bounce back to me.
If I try to tackle i"ll probably just walk or run past my opponents.
But for the past few days I had my midfielders closing down spaces, easy interceptions and now they can't intercept a ball rolling cms away from them.
Only a lunatic could play 2 matches in a row.
When I didn't have delay I played about 20 matches in 2 days won 18. Since the delays back I've only played 4 lost them all by about 6 goals. Then you get people messaging you tell you how bad you are " Which are actually some of the worst players I've ever played against" My players can't do anything, can't win a tackle, can't move, defence opens up everytime my opponents get the ball. Good game EA very fair.
I know EA done something but seen the complains and changed it again. In that case the game doesn't work as it should " So i'll take the refund."
Another wee thing I need EA to explain, if my opponents leave their controller down its still hard to play against.
If I left mine down my AI move out of the way for my opponent " What's that mean, how's that work?. Does it mean I have a beginner AI ?
Played a couple more in different modes, Friendlies and Rivals still haven't won a match since Friday.
But from Tuesday to Thursday the game was easy.
What I've learnt is the game holds your hand, opponents dont actually matter. Like if a pro came to play what I'm playing they wouldn't win a match either how could they.
I've had this bad gameplay all year got a couple of days of normal gameplay and now can't win because I found out how easy it. You don't even have to tackle just run into opponents and win the ball, the AI automatically intercept balls, and all players have superglue feet touches.
It’s down to your isp or home network then. Pros play on the same server as you do if you think they have a better connection it would be because of their isp or setup since you use the same server.
Plus there would be a flood of posts on the forum if it was a server problem.
Does this look like a connection problem from the 10th of June until the 13th I played over 20 matches all were good.
15th onwards I've played 4. Because it's unplayable I've mentioned in my posts what happens.
Spot the difference in the connection reports.
You’re the one who suggested it. If you think there is a difference and a pro would lose playing at your house then it’s something on your end.
You and the pro play on the same servers so by your example it wouldn’t be the server.
Why would a pro see a difference at your house or your setup if it’s not on your end?
@RadioShaqs how's it my end but, what am I supposed to tell my isp? Should I phone them up and say I have a problem with one game but the ping says 18ms 0 jitter and 0 packet loss.
But for 3 days after an update for that game it worked fine.

I have the clips of bad and good gameplay posted " But don't comment on gameplay" lol.
This gameplay needs studied, played with a zoomed in camera to see what was happening. The opponent got a guy sent off and I couldn't actually see to defend so switched to my normal camera. " Let's just say I had to switch back".
That wasn't a great match for the camera but as I don't think the opponent was great. But im pretty sure it won't take long to get a clip where mu players constantly let the ball roll through their feet and every tackle /rebound goes to my opponent.
I would just tell your isp what you said here. If a pro player played on your setup at your house they would lose because something is wrong with your setup.

This match finished me. Can't tell the guy might be good, but when it's so difficult to even turn my players I couldn't tell.
Imagine a sports game that isn't fair, that's like playing a football match in real life with one team with weights on.

59th min his Sancho out sprints my defender secs later my 99 paced Olise attempts the same.
That delay is so noticeable how's my strikers supposed to move with agility when I get into the box all I can actually do is run into my opponents defenders. Check my video from 4 days ago and see how easy it is or just watch my opponents.

This guy quit on me when I went 4-2 up look at the gameplay.
" Its not good" I don't care about results I'm trying to explain that all I want is the same gameplay as my opponents and control of the ball. Any opponents that run from kickoff at me must feel confident in the players control. If I had TOTY Messi I couldn't because I know the agility isn't there.
I won this match in extra time but look at the tackles, guess who can't get near their opponents to tackle because of the delay.
Also even though it says the opponent won 24 he really had 100% success. But then I don't have a force field around my players.
Wait I think I've figured it out automatic AI tackles don't count as won so his AI made about 80 successful tackles.
While my AI " On Beginner make sure to move out of the way incase they get near enough for a tackle".

Can someone look at this gameplay match starts at 37mins, please how am I supposed to tackle, out muscle , out pace , pass first time. And if the delay overlay doesn't show delay then it doesn't work.
I"ll be having nightmares about rebounds tonight.
Anyone need their players boosted just play me.

I watch the gameplay I just don’t comment because if I say it’s not eas fault people want to argue with me. I’ve said on other videos like noways he had delay and another video he was making mistakes. Even though I try to be fair it’s not worth arguing.
The two controllers on screen will show delay or lack of delay by how in sync or out of sync they are.
I should add I hope ea comments on your videos. When they went over noways I think that helps in transparency and explains what goes on in game. The pros and * thread was good information for everyone.
It felt like nearly every player I played against on champs basically didnt even have to press buttons against me, everything just came so easy for them, all opponents start with a skill move from kickoff " That doesn't even register on my controller "
There was one match tonight that felt completely different to anything I've ever played before I got beat 4-3 but the weight of players felt different it's hard to explain. All I know was he was a PC or ps5 player must have been very good because he was using Precision passing and I think it was player lock " Or off the ball movement" also some kinda volley kick off glitch.
He was probably the best player I've played against that didn't feel like they got boosted. I felt like I could defend and my players weren't moving away from every ball.
Today I could advance to division 1, of course this technical garbage started showing micro-jumps in display, it's worse than lag.
In another match, the time counter and goal counter disappeared later the game freezed in halftime menu and needed to restart the game.
I recommend Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut - you can relieve your emotions and imagine the Mongols as the creators of FC24. It helps XDDD.
Why's the online draft gameplay better than any other online modes?
How come my defenders don't run out of position I was using nearly the same players as my main squad.
I conceded 3 in one match against someone with a guest and kept clean sheets in the rest, including the final.
Let me tell you a little about my research:
I have ea fc on ps5 and pc. On xbox x there is fifa 23. On each platform the gameplay is approximately the same, with a delay
I have tried:
1. Different monitors
2. Different routers
3. Various cables
4. Different gamepads with different connection types.
5. Different VPN/exitlag
6. Changed three isp
7. Played from different cities with different pings
The gameplay is sluggish most of the time, but sometimes once a month, for a couple of days it becomes perfect and then I manage to play without defeat. Ping in my city ~35
What conclusions did I draw:
1. Ping does not equal response quality. Playing from another city, with a ping of 60+, I received an excellent response without delays.
2. By connecting to the same servers from the same account, but from different cities, you can get completely different gameplay. How to check this without traveling around cities? If in your country you have the ability to connect to cloud game servers using your ea play account. For example, I can connect to a remote cloud server with a GPU in another city, with a different Internet provider. I will be running the game not on my PC, but on a remote one. Only the video stream of the game running on the remote PC will be transmitted to me. And with all this, I will have a better reaction to the game than if I ran it on my PC. This is such a paradox, the conclusions are yours
Ping isn’t that important. It’s why people need to run the test to really see what’s going on. More times than not they will have packet loss or jitter.
Then when you actually run the overlay you can visually see what’s going on and show others how much delay or lack of delay you have.

But create a new team keep everything default well apart from your set piece takers etc. You can make you own tactics in attacking , ultra attacking and switch ingame. Just make sure you start the game with everything balanced and no player instructions. This idea came to me after playing online drafts and having better gameplay.
There's still delay and 2nd press doesn't really work but it feels alot better than it did before.
Don't be fooled. Another update for 2 days and then comes the weekend -FUT Champs and again a lot of posts about control delays, laggs and bugs.
They should fix this "Science Fiction" gameplay. A footballer with a height of 170 cm - 180 cm cuts through passes that fly far away from him.
Strikers with a finishing of 99 cannot hit the goal - because 10/11 shots are blocked by AI. After all, such stars in real football know how to hit the ball to avoid defenders.
