I mentioned earlier I thought my opponents had more delay as things seemed easier, I still have some delay, but for most things my players can compete with my opponents. The double tap sprint works like never before.It's as if my opponents dont automatically win everything now.Even had to ask people I they were in the same division as me "3" which they were. I seen stability mentioned but what does that mean?Maybe the gameplay will be awful again tomorrow but today was good. First time in a long time and some of the stuff I was doing today I didn't even know was possible.

Don't be fooled. Another update for 2 days and then comes the weekend -FUT Champs and again a lot of posts about control delays, laggs and bugs.
They should fix this "Science Fiction" gameplay. A footballer with a height of 170 cm - 180 cm cuts through passes that fly far away from him.
Strikers with a finishing of 99 cannot hit the goal - because 10/11 shots are blocked by AI. After all, such stars in real football know how to hit the ball to avoid defenders.
Besides, yesterday they did an update, wrote how many things they had fixed - and in SBC the replacement of duplicates is as often in wrong order 87/85/86/88/89.

@NornIron11 Yes I think I did but not this same sequence. Then I was still figuring it out but came down to this. I just know my leftstick dribbling, ai response, team press etc improved.

If I do it and enter straight into a rival/champs match, it doesn't work properly (reason why I believe it's not just settings) but if I enter SB match and then rivals/champs it's better.

I agree with the default team instructions, that use work for me but realised my defensive ai didn't help me. I literally had to control the whole team, the improvement was too small.

Any this shorter new sequence has been working for me. FC24 is definitely an unfinished product and I wouldn't hope on the next getting way better. I hope you find what works for you.

@BanesSolace Honestly, I think EA have got the intended results they want with this game.

If you pay for points and get the AI to do 90% of the work for you then you get smooth gameplay and you can keep coming back and giving them more money

If you don't pay and actually want to have some fun and play some football then it's bye bye, we don't want you anymore

I've seen too much over the last few months when playing P2W players to know that it's not a coincidence that your gameplay becomes 100x worse when you're playing against them. There's something very, very dodgy about the way games are dictated by whatever the AI does/doesn't decide to do for you

@Cam3131 I do get your point and find such a choice by EA counter productive. Yet a silly person in charge can still make a decision of such. When one plays offline, the gameplay is totally different when you play a P2W opposition.

It's like your players think of the weirdest things to do and call it football.

@BanesSolace The thing that really gets me is just how different it is for me vs my opponent sometimes

I'll have a player cleaned out while playing a one-two or smashed from behind when i'm clean through on goal and nothing gets given, but then I brush past someone in my box without even pressing to make a challenge and it's an instant penalty

I've had it in at least 5 games today where my CBs have just stood and looked at a ball that's gone straight to their feet, watched it go by them to let the opposition striker in for a one on one, but opposition AI players are lunging 20 feet to make sliding interceptions that are physically impossible

I know it sounds like the type of thing a child would say but the gameplay genuinely isn't fair. There's always too much of a swing in one persons favour

I'd like to get this over with... stupidly wondering what can improve a broken game - it's really none of our business.
The product is supposed to function like a car is supposed to drive after purchase in the showroom.
Now I played champs and it's a mess. After 5 games, my head is boiling like after 3 days of partying.
The players move like in a swamp and their "realistic animations" + weak servers - one wrong move with leftstick and the player almost falls.
I have 99 basic speed wingers and they run with brick shoes.
2K hurry up and I'll thank EA until they will dismiss those responsible for this "work of art" ....maybe EA will come back to tracks in few years, but like one of FC24 songs
"Not Today, not today"... and not this year, and not next year - no product from this corp. even 4 free.
"Show me the money" actually fits here too XD

My gameplay has been good again for a couple or days, I not playing Champs, just Rivals, Friendlies and squad battles the biggest thing I notice is how my AI gets a foot in when I don't expect it. " Just nicks the ball away from my opponents " in Delay/bad gameplay that never happens " I can see it happening against me just not for me". Basically it is like there's a force field in delay. Why is that?
Even with delay the game would be alot easier if that didn't happen. At the minute I can do a roulette maybe even time it wrong and still bundle my way through the opponent " Even the highest rated team on squad battles, in delay that is an 100% success tackle " The ball will stick to my opponent like glue".
It seems like the game is programmed to do that.
