Women's players not satisfying Marquee Matchup SBC requirements

There is one SBC in the group that has the requirement: "Min. 1 Player from Atlético de Madrid OR Real Madrid" and another with the requirement "Min. 1 Player from Arsenal or Spurs"

The requirements mention nothing about having to use only male players for this requirement, yet if you try to use a woman player from one of these clubs it does not work.
