Portsmouth are truly becoming a bogey team of yours. Two defeats by one goal, both after conceding in injury time. Now I hope to see you play them in one of the cups, or else you'll need to wait until next season to get your revenge.
Tough for the youth team to lose their star man, but seeing him promoted is pretty much the idea of it all and should work as a good motivation for the rest of the boys.

Unfortunately we got knocked out League Cup 1st round and unfortunately one of us has been knocked out 3rd round of FA Cup so no more games with Pompey this season unless we both make dramatic climbs up the table
Unfortunately with youth player it was one of those forced promotions because they wanted to leave etc. hoped I wouldn't have to do that yet

A great run you are on now. Whatever has changed defensively is working so stick with it. Plymouth with two red cards will have Rooney fuming but makes for an easy win for you.
12 points clear and positive in GD. I think you will be safe the way things are trending.

Slowly turning the tide, on course for that mid-table ranking (10th-12th) I predicted at the beginning. Keep going!...

More changes to tactics and a couple signings have certainly helped. Definitely find it more challenging this year gameplay wise which is good

You're hard on Plymouth Argyle, first beating them 4-0 and then signing their top scorer. There are certainly going down, and Rooney's career as manager could well be over, almost before it has even begun.
I like the signing very much, using in game statistics and performances as the motivation to sign a player.

It was kinda because of the intro of that game the commentators not shutting up about him is why I looked into him
Hadn't planned anymore than the one initially, but thought this works for now. The permanent signing of Yu Hirakawa was mentioned purely because his parent club isn't in the game

Right when it looked like you were turning it around, results slipped again. You are safe now at least so the main goal is accomplished.

Hardie's had a good start, it seems. A goal vs both Oxford, Stoke and Boro, unfortunately losing the lead in two of those.
Having put the relegation zone at a 14 points distance, you can now afford to think more ahead. Perhaps a few first team games for the youngster, you were forced to promote? It's always difficult to rely too much on young players, when you're in a title race or a battle to avoid relegation. Finding yourself in a midtable position should be the ideal position to be in, if you want to build the squad for the future.

Certainly rotating a little more now I'm confident we're safe

Not Nice!
This just became my favorite story to follow...
Nice update on the youth win. Out of that group, who are you looking forward to using the most with the first team (if any)?

I've got a few I'm interested in. LW Luca Fisher (17) has been really good in the last 2 tournaments. Unfortunately his Potential has gone down significantly since signing him and is not very high at all. I will possibly still promote him and maybe he can exceed his potential. Luca Myers (16) is a CAM who joined just before the Tournament, felt good to use and hoping to develop him further and lastly Cameron Hale (17) a RW who currently has the highest potential from list. I had to promote someone just before the tournament Louis Allison (17) who I'm also looking forward to using great pace and another RW currently also able to play CAM. Will possibly get some game time between now and end of seasons

5-1 at Bramall Lane. Certainly a tough day at the office. Were you reckless giving those two penalties away? I do that sometimes, slide in accepting the opportunity to give away a pen. Other times it's just a standing tackle or really just standing there that provides the (soft) penalty.
Looking at your youth teams it's frustrating me quite a bit that there is so limited editing options. Why can't you pick the captain yourself, for instance. Why is it randomly assigned? The same with squad numbers. Number 99 always being issued to the latest to join the lineup, as far as I can tell. And number 10 issued to one of your goalies? Being a squad number nerd this is something that really bothers me (despite possible being a minor detail for others).

Relegating Sykes to the reserves...excellent. I always do that when this happens.

I'm also curious about the fact that you are fighting relegation, in the context of manager objectives, or have you turned them off? If so, hopefully the feature is working properly...

In that case, you wouldn't like mine that much. Spurs only finished 25th in the Europa League, just missing out on the playoff match they would have got, if they had finished in the top 24.

I was a tad bitter on this one and took it extra personally when I sent him a message and it was left on read and no reply 😂 in fairness either he doesn't remember who I am cause haven't worked with the club for couple years now or doesn't care 🤪 or could be another player using the phone depending which one does certain community work.
As for objectives I chose option where I couldn't be fired so I could ignore all other objectives so shouldn't be a problem especially as I think I'm failing on all.of then.

The numbers don't bug me really never has done..I've only started recently keeping on top of them for others benefits because it used to bug people seeing screen shots and clips with squad numbers all over the place 😂 but we all have different minor bugs that annoy us.
I couldn't really complain about the pens against Sheffield United, but have had a few where have walked into each other and penalty given. I'm not doing well at saving them this year. I had a good record previously on 24 haven't saved one yet this year.

What's going on in Greece?! Olympiacos with back to back European trophy seasons, and AEK Athens now being Conference League runner-ups? That's crazy. I had a similar experience with clubs from Poland in FC24. Suddenly Rákow were extremely successful, I believe they were runner-ups in the Conference League, though I'm not 100% sure. And they came pretty far in the season before (or after?) as well. There was also another Polish team that did quite well in those seasons. I don't recall which one though.
Leeds winning their Playoff spot with a 3-0 win over Bristol City. This reeks of matchfixing, haha. With one of your favourite clubs having nothing to play for, you could easily afford to drop points to help your other favourite win a playoff spot. Great to see Leeds going all the way, especially with the mention of them often failing to win their promotion that way. I wasn't aware of them having a poor record in the playoffs.
I like the season review with a short mention of how the new signings have performed. Seems the new guys have settled in nicely so far, despite a tough start for Mayulu. If your next signings make a similarly great adaption to Ashton Gate, then you could be climbing even further up the table next season.
Have you planned ahead for the summer window prior to the new season? A few players returning from loan, as far as I can tell. What are your plans for them?
