Im glad this post is out there and really hope EA impose the changes back to the old system. Perhaps the elite of elite pro club teams can still receive some enjoyment but the fact is there is nothing to play for unless you fit that category. My ideal pro clubs format would be.
The old division system permanently in play so competing for the title is always an option.
But also add actual Cup competitions not solely the childish type like “Long Range goals Cup” that I’m sure nobody ever played.
But proper competitions like add a qualification so only teams in the top division can qualify for a champions league equivalent cup and then even a Europa league style Cup for divisions below. I will even be greedy and say add a World Cup/ Euros seasonally when they’re on! Where you have to use a national teams kit and badge to compete.
Ultimately I remember the excitement at a change in format but how wrong I was, please go back!
