Online Career Mode Should Be Added to EA FC (Detailed Suggestion)
Dear EA Sports Team, I’m a PlayStation 5 user and a longtime fan of the FIFA series—I've played every game from FIFA 18 to FC 25. But to be honest, the spirit of FIFA feels like it's fading. Ultimate Team has become a game mode purely focused on opening packs and spending money. It’s the same game every year with just new cards, and for real football lovers like myself, it gets boring. What we really want is clear: an Online Career Mode. I’m talking about: - Players choosing a team and managing it in real-time - Competing in a league with other real online users - No more AI matches—only head-to-head against real people - Stadium upgrades based on club success and earnings - The ability to build training grounds, medical centers, and other facilities - Fanbase growing with your club’s performance - Optional cosmetics like custom kits, club logos, and manager outfits that could be monetized This kind of mode would take FIFA to the next level. Personally, I would jump straight in with Newcastle United, start from the bottom, and fight my way to Premier League and Champions League glory. That’s the kind of meaningful, competitive, and rewarding football experience we're missing. If you still want to make money, no problem—include cosmetic packs, custom visuals, etc. But continuing to release the same game year after year focused only on Ultimate Team is not what your loyal players deserve. My friend and I play FIFA 25 on EA Pass, purchased on Steam, and we play pro clubs. Matchmaking worked fine for us, it searched for games normally, but when a friend who created a new EA account and bought EA Pass joined us, but on the EA app and not on Steam like we did, the match search stopped working and kept giving search errors.
Why is my pro clubs ai defending and passing so bad?
My AI defence is so bad every game, while my opponents are really solid, they refuse to tackle the ball, keep missing passes to other AIs, get caught out of position all the time even though i tell them to stay back while attacking and pass directly to the other team. I've tried different tactics, I'm currently running 4-2-3-1 attacking and they suck, it's completely unplayable. PS. they also seem to for some reason do 180's every time I call for a pass and then most of the time they straight up ignore me and then lose the ball

It is noticeable that over the last few editions, there has been a significant reduction in the variety of boots available in this mode, especially compared to Career Mode, which offers a greater variety. We know that customization is an essential part of the player experience, and many of us feel limited by the limited options currently available. We understand that contractual issues and technical limitations may be involved, but we believe that with a little effort, it would be possible to bring this much-desired update, providing a more immersive and satisfying experience in Clubs Mode. We count on your attention to meet this community demand, which will certainly be very well received by all fans of the series. When I’m trying to play clubs with my mates from another country I try to get in the lobby and when it starts searching it kicks me out and says “connection to lobby lost” I have got cross play on and I have turned off the approximate location matchmaking I don’t know how to fix it so I can play clubs on fc26
