Parma is a good shout. They were great in the late 1990's, so that would definitely be a good match for my usual preference for bringing glory to clubs that has some history with trophies. Sampdoria the same, that's also why I started with them at some point in FC24. But you are correct, as a serie B side they don't fit my early plans for this save. Unless I end up swapping them with a current Serie A side or something. I could do that, now I think about it...
Whether or not Parma - or Sampdoria - is my chosen club, I really can't say. Cause I haven't decided yet. I'll have to start the game, see the kits, the players, get a feel of the game... And then I'll choose. So even if I wanted to, I really can't provide any spoilers just yet 😉
Just come across another new feature being mentioned. Apparently we can turn off scouting. Probably not something I will.do, because I like the idea of finding a Gem I hadn't heard of, but something in the middle would be good. For example works class established players we shouldn't need to scout, players maybe rated over 83 or something certainly well known ones
- Now that the game is out, I can share other details. Make sure you look into the new settings before starting a career. Some settings you cannot adjust after as far as I can tell. Like training involvement, scouting, and options with the new youth games.
The new youth setting, when playing youth games you can change it to playing as the players current skill or playing as the players at their highest potential.
I went with playing at their current skill so I know how they currently are before promoting them. The youth RUSH games are really fun. A nice break from normal games but not crazy like Volta was. I was setting up a CM last night just to start completing some objectives they linked with FUT. I must've completely missed where Live Starts was tho whilst going through. Will have to be more thorough next time, but there are a lot more options whilst setting up so echo having a good look through. Seem to have even missed turning off transfer window. It's not a serious CM anyways. Will start and choose proper once I've properly got the game and not on free trial.
Another thing while I think of it incase in anyone's plans. The Icons available for Career Mode, we are unable to use them as Managers so we can't start a player Career with them and retire them to become managers unfortunately
I’m sure others will find glitches and there are threads for that but just wanted to let you guys know about the easy fix one. Check kits before a match.
Twice now I have started a match and had to quit and restart because both kits were either all white or at least bright enough that you could not tell the difference.
Loving the gameplay so far though.

Annoyingly I've had this happen in online matches as well. Also during Rush in CM. Offline easy enough to check online is bloody annoying and each time is happend I've been against someone on different console so can't message to find out if they had same issue
Looking forward to getting back into CM this year after a year playing FUT last year. Life's busy for the next 6 weeks but I'll definitely be giving it a try after that. The new features look great

Bad news, I was looking forward to being able to do this. Only reason (for me) to even have Icons in the game.
Early days and may just need time to get used to them, but currently not a fan of the New Menu's in Career Mode. Quite a few little changes as well to do with scouting youth and what I previously mentioned about being able to turn scouting on or off there does appear to be an in-between option too. I echo once again to go through all the options when setting up thoroughly.
I'm potentially gonna be working off 2 careers. I stay in 2 locations depending where I'm working and have my old XB1 at one of them so have started a career there testing the waters with a women's career with the plan to move into the men's on a Journeyman type career. Gonna see how it goes before posting anything as have heard of a few issues regarding Women's Career. Plus I'm running off the free trial still and dunno when I'm getting the game fully. My Main career will be on my S Series Which I'll start later. Still leaning towards Bristol City for that one
Am I being really dumb? Where is live starts? I cannot find the option 😂
