Had tried to change formation and tactic in setting to use in player career mode but everyime I tried to start new player career mode my custom formation is not availble but only being stuck with ea's default formation. Had tried to delete the default formation but seems the issue remains.
This DOSE NOT FIX the Player career mode reverting to default Team sheets but..
To save Custom Tactics/team sheets and Squad changes (transfers)... so they dont delete when you exit game.
1. Enter Profile
2. Save Squads (I make two saves - for backup)
3. Save PROFILE. <<<<<<<<
When you reload the game and team sheets/Transfers have reverted back, go to Profile - Load Profile.
Your changes should be back.
Again THIS DOES NOT FIX the Player career mode bug reverting to Team Sheets, but it will allow Manager mode to use changes.

it somewhat work.
I can save my custom formations and tactics
BUT it won’t show up when ever I play or launch manager career mode. It goes back to default.
am I missing something.

ALL other teams will revert back to default tactics,
Player Career and Manager
Transfers will be there (players you move) but the "Team Sheet" will revert back.
Im not playing FC25 until they patch this myself...
Hey, I think we are facing the same issue..
I always choose the best formations/team sheets for other teams before starting a career mode in order to make it more competitive.
For example, Arsenal are currently playing 4-4-2 which means Rice will always miss out as there is no natural CDM in the formation.
Could you please let me know if you have found a solution?
I have even tried loading my previous profile and it doesn't seem to work. The teams sheets are correct and active before I start a new career mode but the changes don't get applied to career mode apart for my own team
I have the same problem, hopefully they will fix it this year. 70 euros per game, 4 major updates and they haven't been able to fix it until now. I'm quite annoyed because I'm only playing career, so I'm just waiting for now.
This is a frustrating situation to face when playing FC games, and it’s disappointing that this issue has persisted for so long, even in previous FIFA titles. It’s clearly a bug, and for a company like EA to consistently fail to address it is completely unacceptable.
We pay good money for this game every year and have remained loyal to EA and the FC series. It’s incredibly frustrating for loyal customers to encounter such a simple yet significant issue, like the inability to save custom team squads without being forced back to EA’s default squads every time.
On top of that, the questionable changes introduced in FC25 make no sense and have only added to our dissatisfaction. EA needs to realize that if they continue to be arrogant and unresponsive to their player base, it’s time for us to start looking for alternative games to play.
EA, it’s time to step up, listen to your players, and be proactive. Let us continue to enjoy the FC series by reverting FC25 to the same gameplay mechanics as FC24 and releasing an update to fix the issues. If something isn’t broken, there’s no need to fix it and that's what you've done in FC25.
Lift your game, EA, we deserve better.
I'm having the same issues on seasons, got the game for Christmas €70 and this big still isn't fixed is farcical
