Grande Torino!

They haven't shown much in the last three or four decades, but they are one of the most successful Italian teams when it comes to youth: they've won Serie A Primavera (a competition to Olympic format: U21 plus a couple of dispensation-players) the most of all teams ( 9x).

I remember them mostly for the UEFA Cup finals (home and away) against Ajax, back in 1992: the first leg in Turin was an absolute cracker! Italian football was at its absolute peak back then: Milan, Sampdoria or Juventus - the Italian champions went almost automatically to the Europa Cup final, so to get the edge on them (on away goals, no less) was both a miracle as well as the start of the Golden Age of Ajax, where each and every time Ajax had the better of an Italian side until the døped up 1996 team of Juventus stopped us in the Champions League final. Because of that, Ajax shares good memories with Torino and bad ones with the city rival.

Given from where you took over, 7 points from 4 games ain't bad. But apart from he takeover, I still don't know what the plan is under the new manager? What are we aiming for? Buy players, or school them? Where do you want to be at the end of next season: European ticket, or top half is enough for now?

True. Decent start, a few ups and downs. I don't know about the plan just yet. Just wanted to start with a few games and get to know the club before trying to add a bigger perspective and storyline. I have second thoughts about this "Live Starts" though. Results in Europe don't comply, I see. The Playoff games are finished now, but the Round of 16's are not scheduled. 

I had high hopes for these Live Starts, but it seems like there's still some work ahead for EA to make it work properly. Furthermore, I really dislike the new forum here. Needing to post just one image in every post in order to avoid confusion for the reader as to which order the posts are meant to be read in. I don't know. I might take a break from CM Stories for a while. I don't feel this platform is adequate, and on the other hand, I'm also about to move into a new house. So I won't have much time anyway for the next month or so.

I understand JustinCase0110 . Well, it would be a shame to lose you permanently because of this platform. I sometimes scout for others forums, but outside a local one in Dutch language, I cannot really find one.

Hope to see you in a while again: good luck with moving places. Do you remain in the same surroudings, or are you going somewhere completely new?
