I want to know why the username [Edit - EA_Barry] isn't offensive

I was playing a game of clubs and one on my opponents had the username [Removed - EA_Barry]. I reported the first one and received the response that this wasn't deemed offensive. I created another case to specifically ask the question why that username was allowed. The response I received was a generic we haven't taken any action email.

So I want to know why are overtly racist user names allowed? Any idiot can see that changing one letter for a number doesn't change the meaning of the word.

I get that EA want to spend as little as money as possible (if any at all) on having a process that actually works but surely there should be a minimum standard to prevent things like this.

I have asked EA and they couldn't be bothered to explain so I am hoping that someone on these forums may be able to explain.
