No transfer list option - Player Career

This may have already been covered in another thread but why have EA removed the option to request a transfer in player career mode?

Career Mode is designed to simulate the life of a professional footballer. The inability to request a transfer removes an essential part of the game mode, making the experience less realistic and immersive.

One of the most appealing aspects of player career mode for me was seeing the value of my player increase and seeing what clubs were interested in signing me. The player value statistic is now redundant with the new transfer mechanism.

Going from league 2 prospect, handing in a transfer request after a successful league campaign and seeing offers come in from clubs in the higher divisions was a great feeling.

Going from a club in the lower half of the league and being signed in the January transfer window last minute by club in the same league fighting for Europe. 

These are the narratives that could be crafted in player career mode via the transfer list mechanic, adding immersion and variety to every play through.

Now, we are forced to play the entire season, choose a club we want to go to, set the wage we want and complete arbitrary objectives. Boring.

I doubt there will be any big changes to player career mode now in FC25, but given that it feels like this series is going backwards with every release in respect to career mode, I can't see myself investing any more time or money after this game unless EA actually demonstrates they care about offline players.
