Not able to play club rush mode online (player mode) with my friend

I am not able to play EA FC 25 online club rush mode online with my friend, We are both on Xbox and we are friends on Xbox and EA. We tried matching matchmaking for 2 other players several times. What do I/we have to do to fix this ?
