Good luck mate. I'm a Career Mode enthusiast myself, so I'm glad to see others share the passion/preference for the game mode. Especially with Career Mode often being overlooked, seeing more and more turn to FUT and other online game modes.
Your career plan sounds interesting. That could make a great platform for a Career Mode Story, if you ever felt like writing about your progress along the way, inviting others along on the journey. I'll have to warn you though. There aren't many of us, and responses on the forum are few and far between.
The main issue with Career Mode is all the options you need to choose, when you start the career. These things can't be changed along the way, so it's really important to choose the right thing before starting the save.
In terms of bugs I have only experienced one, I think. When I started, I wanted to start with a closed first transfer window. That somehow removed the transfer hub completely from my game, so I wouldn't be able to scout, buy and sell players at all during the game. That was pretty awful, but luckily I noticed it straight away. I don't know if they've fixed this though.

What. On. Earth. is this new autosaving feature in career mode. I started my career, simmed a few days to test out some of the features and then quit without saving. I go back into the save and it's autosaved (overwriting the original file) 20 days into the save. Why have they changed a flawless system that has worked perfectly for 10+ years?
