thanks for all your reports! This is a pretty weird issue and our team is investigating.
We could use your help in collecting some more info, trying to get to the bottom of this. Could you please let us know what controller layout are you using? (For example, Classic, Alternate etc.)
It would also be helpful to get a short video clip of it happening with the gamepad overlay turned on.

Stop acting like this isn't coded to deter us away from career mode and push us to just blow money on the sorry Ultimate Teams mode that consistently has hackers and bugs... The fact we can't sprint AS WELL as when doing training in career for free kicks. Complete **bleep** and still bugged for months. The sprint being a simple command says it all smh sorry **bleep** excuse in 2025... Truly hate the top of command for caring about money more then they do the fanbase
