just happned to me, I started a new season with Man united with Ruben Amorim and I changed the formation tactics to custom. Not only are the players not sprinting but the Manager has a glitch too, the manager has a wierd hairstyle during transfer negotiations, usually a pony tail or bangs with long hair. You can tell something is wrong.
I have the same problem, career mode with Manchester United, Amorim showing with a shaved head during matches, also not able to sprint regardless of settings!!
