@mikegreen1991 It also makes no sense that it would be a settings problem because the first save I made when the game came out I had the same settings and it worked fine, and it still works fine, but this save is the only place in the game where I can actually sprint. It doesn't work anywhere else in the game
I also tried what Mike Green suggested and it didn’t work. And even so; why should we have to play on classic settings to get the game to work if we prefer a custom/simulation mode. Does not a single person who works on the game actually play career mode??
- @AdjacentTiger20 Agreed. The game is so bad that IMO you need sliders to make it semi enjoyable. £70 for a broken game.
Having said that, I played last night after not touching it for 2 months and the sprint issue seemed ok, even on simulation. Only a few instances where I felt I couldn't catch up with AI - maybe I'm just kidding myself because I want to play career mode.
Isn't it mad that the EA person hasn't responded to this thread since first commenting?!AcceleRate is the issue..

- @Hoseblinkbig1 No sprinting in career mode. I would agree if this was happening to a game I pirated but we bought this and are facing this. And to make matters worse EA is not doing a single thing since last 2 months to fix this. I guess thats what happens when you have a loyal fan base and monopoly on the football game.
Ahh is it definitely not working in career mode? Maybe it seemed ok as I hadn't played in a while. I presume they don't know how to fix it.
