thanks for all your reports! This is a pretty weird issue and our team is investigating.
We could use your help in collecting some more info, trying to get to the bottom of this. Could you please let us know what controller layout are you using? (For example, Classic, Alternate etc.)
It would also be helpful to get a short video clip of it happening with the gamepad overlay turned on.

I uses Alternate control. No issue with players running in kick off and old saved versions. The issue has been ongoing since Dec 2024 till date (9 Jan 2025). Please rectify soon.
