There isn't a single development plan preset that allows you to train Free-Kicks, on previous editions of Career Mode this wasn't the case; please fix this bug we should be able to train free-kicks.
The only way the Free-Kick stat gets boosted is via the "Balanced" option, it shouldn't be like this.
June 2025 and it still hasn't been fixed
I think this is honestly a joke, the company clearly have no desire to work on anything other than Ultimate Team. It feels like all the resources go towards Ultimate Team, I would honestly pay for two different games an Ultimate Team one and a Career mode one if it meant EA would actually give some attention to Career Mode (Really shouldnt need to but seems like the only way). There are sooooo many creative ideas from this community as to how this game mode could be improved, the fact that EA completely disregards all feedback is so horrible.

Dude it’s actually absurd. The newest update has made the game unplayable. I think there’s a glitch where the cpu doesn’t get called for fouls now so I’m letting in goals that would be otherwise called offsides constantly. EA has to be running some sort of social experiment to see how bad they can make the game while still bringing in $$$. The game has consistently gotten worse with every update

I'm completely baffled. Have never seen such indifference with ones own product - and it's buyers, who're indirectly financing the stuff.
Been playing this for ages, but I don't think I'll be buying the next game.
This is absolutely ridiculous. We all know that EA doesn't care much, but this is on a while new level.
I mean, this tells you all you need to know. These guys do not care about career mode players. Once microtransactions are added for career mode, they'll start fixing it
