AI is really inconsistent

I don’t get the AI in this game, Pro career playing as a single player. Everything is going okay then you get a streak of games where the AI on your team looks like they’ve never seen a football let alone played the game. 
I’m not talking about being outplayed or having a bad game, I’m talking about your team being completely and utterly useless. Can’t pass, can’t tackle, can’t shoot, can’t do anything remotely resembling playing football.

I have no problem being outplayed and losing, or just not having the bounces go my way, but when my team looks like a bunch of 5 year olds playing for the first time it gets really annoying.
