Are the forums overall pointless?

They arent pointless for EA.  Because EA uses them to have us (who paid for the game) Beta test their releases after they are released.  So we pay to play a game that is full of bugs and report them and then they look at them and say thanks for that info, we wont have to pay game testers anymore now that we have you buying our game every year and reporting all the issues.   Same thing happened with CFB25.   There literally is no game testing going on at all.  So many of these things could have been caught by an 8 year old playing the game.  Its pretty sad really.   Probably the last Football game I will be buying from EA for full price.
