Ban for using cheating software? but didn't use one from scratch ...

Hey there... 

I can't explain it, cause i play EA FC since many years on console, and last year on pc, but this year, just received an email telling me that i'm ban cause using cheating software.. I can't explain that, i don't have any cheat program on my pc, and dont understand AT ALL this ban. I already send a ticket to try to resolve that and no one answers me. 

What's the average ETA for this type of case? if someone have an answer, could be really appreciated.

    I’m here to share a deeply frustrating and disheartening experience I’ve had with the game. A week ago, I was banned without any clear reason, and despite my attempts to appeal and clarify the situation, I’ve been met with an unhelpful and dismissive response from EA.

    Here’s what happened:

    For context, I spend most of my time in Squad Battles. I’ve been learning to play against higher-difficulty bots, experimenting with different players in my squad, and testing various tactics to improve my skills. It’s a challenging but rewarding way to enjoy the game. During one of these matches, the game unexpectedly crashed. When I tried to log back in, I was hit with an error message stating that my account had been banned.

    I was shocked and confused. I’ve always played the game fairly and honestly. I’ve never used cheats, exploits, or any form of third-party software. I pride myself on being a principled player, and achieving success in the game through fair means is the only way I find enjoyment. I’ve even avoided going AFK in modes like Rush because I know how frustrating it is to encounter selfish players who undermine the experience for others.

    After waiting for a week to hear back from EA Support, their response left me feeling even more frustrated. They claimed that the ban was justified and that their decision was correct. However, they provided no explanation as to why I was flagged or what specific behavior led to this action. Without any details, how am I supposed to understand or address the issue?

    Being branded as a cheater is a serious attack on my integrity. It’s insulting and deeply upsetting to know that my honest efforts and time spent enjoying the game have been dismissed without cause. I care about my reputation and fairness, not just in gaming but in life. This unjustified ban feels like a personal attack on my character.

    I’m sharing this here because I’m sure I’m not alone. If anyone has faced similar issues or has advice on how to navigate this, please share your experiences. EA, if you’re listening, all I want is a fair review of my case and clear communication. I’m not asking for special treatment—I’m simply asking for fairness and transparency.

    You can always see the status of your case under "My Cases". It can take a few days for them to get back to you depending on volume. Hopefully you'll hear back soon.

    Here's what the Terms of Service team have said about response times in the EA Help article 'Get information about EA Account locks, bans, and suspensions':

    They will reach out to you via email as soon as that follow-up investigation is complete, which is often far less than the 10 days. Read through our help article for more on how EA bans and suspensions work and please continue to keep an eye out on your inbox as the Terms of Service team will be in touch with you through there once they've finished their investigation.

    damn, so i just cant have any reason concering the ban, just have to wait that someone accept to treat my case? It's a really worried situation, cause i can't explain that. it's really stressfuyll to be punished without really knowing why... i pay attentyion to everything i do, i respect conditions of use, and i wake up this morning to see that i got banned at 3a.m, for cheating... great...

    it would be forbid to not giv any reason for a ban... a first support contact person tells me that nothing is bad with my account, he can't see something deserving a ban. but still banned however.. 

    It's not rly optimistic to read what u're telling us.. banning for any reason, without consideration.. hard to read, rly.

    The same thing happened to me except i have found evidence of an attempt to what i can describe as hack. i had a verification code sent to my mail in between the sessions i was online and after my ban email came in saw that there was a log in from another country. Clearly it was either a mistake or that someone else must have done something while they hijacked my account. Naturally i reached out to EA for a resolution and i was expecting them to give me justice. Instead i received the same message that you did and the ban was upheld. We really need a spokesperson to speak with us directly and help us get out accounts back fairly. It is my right as a consumer and i am entitled to it through the consumers protection act

  • If any EA personnel see this please help us with clear guidances on how we can get our accounts back with advise on evidence i can produce
