Become Immortal- champions objective

Happened to me as well, it wasn't my connection as it only kicked me out to the ultimate team menu and not the main menu (not disconnecting me from the servers) and now i can't complete the objective as it expires before champs. Then get the same copy and paste answer from support, "there is a dedicated team working on this". Zero confidence this will ever get fixed and I have just wasted my time completing the objectives and the SBC. I don't understand why they can't extend the objective to cover weekend league.
