Been Permanent Banned For Cheating EAFC 25

Hello,

I have received an email at approximately 9:44 AM GMT+8 stating that I was banned from EA SPORTS FC ONLINE ACCESS, the email further stated that i will not have online access to any pas, current and future EA SPORTS FC AND?OR EA SPORTS FIFA TITLES. I have seen many people being banned on other social media platforms and also on the EA forums themselves. I have been a loyal fan of the FIFA/ EA FC since 2018, it has been a game that might not be perfect in all that sense but it was comforting to come back to every year, every day. I have played this game for so long and have always been proud of my FUT founder badge.

I have never hacked, exploited or downloaded any 3rd party applications to assist me in anyway. I do not understand what was the ban for, I have never cheated and I will never cheat in a single game, my PC is clean, I close everything in the background to play this game as I do not want to lag or get frame drops, what could I possibly have on my computer that will be flagged out as "cheats". I have spent so much in this game not just monetary but also the hours upon hours of my free time. I feel that a permanent ban is not deserved, I have never cheated in anyway. I feel that there should be a warning regarding cheating before the ban comes in because I genuinely feel that a lot of people do not know the reason for the ban if you are going just straight out ban them without stating a specific reason, in my case especially, what constitutes as cheating, I genuinely do not understand, I have played this game for about 7 years, why would I risk it all to get banned? Why would I want to started a new account and start the grind once again. Please do look into my account, please unbanned me, this is a wrongful termination of my FUT online services.

Just becuase someone says they were falsely banned @Me7gore does not make it so.

Plenty of people who claim that they were banned in the wrong are simply not being truthful.

All TOS appeals are independently investigated by a member of our TOS team.

If an appeal is declined then it means that our TOS team found evidence that supports the ban.

Nevertheless, you should not forget that it is an algorithm that performs the ban in the first step. Even an algorithm has to “learn”. How often has it happened that anti-cheat programs recognize legitimate software as “cheat-software”? Often enough. Of course I am aware that some customers are simply lying. But I find it relatively weak to insist on this without any further information other than a standard e-mail.

Please don't spread random theories @Me7gore.

Any TOS appeal that is declined means that our team found evidence that supports the ban.

This is what the TOS teams "template" response which is always the exact same for reject appeal says qualifies as cheating in EAFC 25.

    • Use of external tools and/or software
    • Send unsolicited information to EA servers
    • Perform in-game exploits
    • Abusing glitches or bugs

The problem with this, is that it fails to even specify the general reason for why was the ban issued. How is someone meant to appeal successfully against such a wide range of accusations? I understand that they will and should not provide the exact reason since cheat makers can abuse that information, but not even specifying one of the four general reasons they have listed there as the explanation is just insanely unfair for the banned player. Also what comes to their anti-cheat and other algorithms they use, It's already accepted by the FUT community that the algorithm they use to detect coin selling / transferring is massively flawed and causes massive amount of false bans every single year. So since we already know that EA has an algorithm that is broken I'd say it's very likely that the anti-cheat has serious flaws too.

  • @kala077 As you just read from Darko, it is not in their interest to continue providing customer service here. This also means: once banned, always banned if the review after the appeal confirms this.

@Me7gore I'm more than aware of that. I just want to raise this issue so people who stumble across these posts hopefully think twice before spending massive amount of money to their games when it's possible that their access can be revoked at any time without a reasonable explanation.
  • @kala077 If you are honest, you have been given 4 possible reasons. See the e-mail that is sent to you after a ban. But I'm with you: the communication is not good. I don't think that's going to change.

Going to lock this one now as we have moved into a number of directions and the spreading of random unsubstantiated theories and what not.

Have already had to remove some posts and rather than risk this going further off the rails we'll close it here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/help/faqpage
