Best defending tactical / advanced

Just recently on rivals and career mode I’m swapping and changing between both defending methods whether it’s just me but on tactical defending the slide tackle doesn’t work properly and goalkeeper doesn’t come when the GK rush button anyone else had this but ultimately I would love too find out which is the best defending ultimately
