Cheating in console to console friendlies? Is it possible? 95 tackles?!

Hi there I made a bet with my friend that I would give him £50 if he beat me in an online friendly, this is a guy I usually obliterate when in person, so I was expecting an easy win.

The guy did 95 tackles in one match, which no one does to me, he was even doing some tackles that looked very, very suspect and by that I mean he basically did a sliding tackle at one point which sent my player flying and should have been a red card, it was very strange, his players appeared to be moving much faster than mine too.

Was just wondering if he may have been cheating as I suspect he probably was. Please can you tell me exactly what he was doing to cheat.

We played online friendly, he was on PS5 and I was on XBOX, he claims the only way to cheat would have been if he was on pc. Any info would be great as I do not want to give him £50 if he cheated to win!
