Chemistry styles

I was wondering if I need full 3 chem for anchor to be at its full potential for example if I use Theo with anchor would I still get the plus 4 pace on 2 chem or does he have to be on 3 chem to get the plus 4 pace. When I check on futgg it shows it’ll be only +2 but idk if tht makes sense since it shows the white lines full on 2 chem in fc but if I were to use shadow it shows two white lines with 1 gray showing its not using shadow all the way.
