Division rivals matchmaking issue ?

I’ve recently got into division 5 on rivals , only play a few times a week so casual player and team is okay , this week has been a nightmare for matchmaking , straight away as soon start playing I can tell skill levels . Messaged a few whilst playing , 5 times up against division 2 players , twice against division 1 players !! . How can it match me who’s just got in division 5 with these players .
Is any one else having issues like this .
