Run Windows update repeatedly, rebooting as required, until no more updates are available.

The problem continues, I don't know if you wasted your time reading what I wrote, but as I mentioned previously, I have all the latest drivers/updates, and also as I mentioned previously, this problem also happens in offline mode, so your post doesn't work. solved the problem 🙂

Graphics settings don't seem to help anymore, the game speed is pathetic.

Not sure if this is the same problem or not for everyone's slow motion in game but I just had it happen to me and it turned out that the stupid game automatically changed my controller setup to "1 button".
So to check, next time you get a slow down, pause and see if the game changed your controller settings.
Hope it's the fix for you guys to.
it has nothing to do with internet when the game slows down, it has to do with your game. No way 1gb/1gb internet slows down randomly to the point where the players almost stop or you controller input is not registered. I tried even playing this awful game on lowest settings even tho I have a 3080. Nothing is helping. Its needs an optimisation asap
