Do you know that when they release an update and say, "We fixed this, improved that, and increased attacker speed," sometimes it's all nonsense?
That's because EA has something called an "internal update." This type of update doesn’t require you to download a file, yet they can tweak everything—reduce attacker speed, lower goalkeeper saves, weaken positioning, and more—without anyone knowing.
That’s why you might experience extremely bad matches for a while, then suddenly feel like the game has improved a bit in other matches. It's all because of the internal update. One moment, through passes feel terrible, and later, they seem faster and better.
I believe this system has its limits, but they can still adjust a lot of things without anyone noticing.
When we say defenders are teleporting, no one believes it, but this is the truth. Even during tackles on the ball, defenders are assisted with the same bad mechanic. Watch this clip:
