The passing in this game is ridiculously bad. No matter how strong the pass is, it always goes to the nearby player, not the intended one, and even the direction gets ignored. I tried passing in every way with maximum power, and still, all of them failed. I’m not surprised when I say this game is built entirely around short passes only. it’s a boring game, with no ideas and very limited.
It is a club game?, if you play assisted I think it is not so strange.

Here is more evidence that the pass is bugged. I have one player in front of me every time (a straight pass with full assisted command on your clip goes straight to the player's leg. Why is my pass going to opponents?)I press X, and you can see the pass became an R1+Triangle pass(no one but two times), first time one bar of power, second times not even one bar(half a bar).
Both controllers were on screen after that. I was sure something was going on, and as you can see, my keeper started moving to the left without me pressing the right stick analog.

It's not a normal X pass to say "assisted."
It's a through ball pass.
The competitive settings are set to "semi."

I pass the ball to the opponents, and he controls the ball immediately. The opponents passed the ball to me, and the ball bounced on me, and my player totally disconnected from the game.
