Now I must read, that Belgium is removed for FC25 for a reason we don’t know because EA didn’t say anything! There are only 29 national teams left and that’s too less teams. In career mode you can’t play a international competition because of that. This leads me to another question: why they don’t add generic national teams? That must be possible like including AC or inter without a license. Give us generic Trikots in correct colors und the Flagg as emblem so that we have the chance to take them in career mode. I don’t need every national team fully licensed, I only want to have the chance to play with them!!! What are your opinions about that?
I couldn't agree more. Obviously there are some licensing reasons behind this, but it is very underwhelming to see more and more national teams being removed from the game. Didn't know about Belgium, but that is bad terrible news indeed.
In regards to generic teams, I probably wouldn't play WITH them myself. But I would like very much to see more generic national teams, whom I could then play AGAINST, in order to keep national tournaments in the game. I do love playing with a national team on the side, when I play manager career mode, but only as long as there are national tournaments to aim for.
I've been thinking about this for a while and this is pure speculation on from me, but I think EA has focused mainly on ensuring they have licenses for the big leagues going forward and we'll find 'Fifa 2k' having the rights to International Tournaments/Teams etc. it's one of the things I'm dreading having more than 1 game out there. Some think it will make better games, but all I see is battles over licences leaving games with less and less realism as lots of generic clubs etc
I don’t mean generic teams, I’m more about national teams. The only generic teams I want to have are these ones, which are needed in the licensed leagues like Serie A with AC, Inter, Atalanta and Lazio. But I want to have generic national teams instead of having nothing. And the thing with license problems, Konami add so many generic national teams and it’s possible. Efootball is such a trash game but in this case they are better than EA!
When EA would give us a statement and say: we only want to have licensed national teams, then we know the reason and then is the question: why they don’t work more on these licenses! How the hell can efootball 2024 having so much more national teams than EA? They don’t have licenses for all these national teams but they put them in generic. That’s what I want for EA too!!!
Dunno if this is coincidence or there some link and reasoning in this, but International Management has been removed from FM as well and won't be in FM25.
