Fantasy FC players when Evo'd

Hi all

If I put one of the fantasy FC players through an evolution, will that stop him getting upgrades?

I want to put Sancet through the Fantasy Captain evo but obvs don't want to miss out on future upgrades, looked this up online but couldn't find anything, cheers!
