So I just purchased some points through the ps app while I have the game on CD
I went to my game and checked the points isnt added, I checked the companion app still nothing
anyone knows what to do here?

Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for the points to be deposited on your account. If you don't have them by then, you'll need to gather your proof of purchase and reach out to our live support team. They can take a look at this for you.
