Good evening, everyone. When I started the game, I set the tactical preset to TIKI TAKA, so I hired assistant coaches with specialization in TIKI TAKA.
However, during my coaching career, I changed the tactic to CUSTOM, but the assistant coaches remain as TIKI TAKA and with a RED ARROW next to them.
Could someone help me with this? Should I leave it as is or will I have to hire new assistant coaches?

Tactics and enhanced player progressions from assistant coaches are merely at the discretion of the user (player). Depending on the type of career mode experience you are wanting to create, and skill level of your playstyle. For average players who depend on user AI controlled players to perform on the pitch, and exhibit fast growth, need to adhere to a dedicated tactic sheet, not a Custom one, and hire Expert level assistant coaches of that specific type. As the career advances and more assistant coaches are hired, you will notice a significant improvement to players on the pitch, which is shown in the formation (green plus sign with a number that indicates the 'boost' players are receiving). After hiring ten or more assistant coaches, the enhancement can be as high as eight points above the real player rating at every position, and some players will grow four to eight rating points in one year. Users who want a more 'realistic' career mode with a minimal improvement and yearly growth to squad players will create a Custom tactic, and only hire three or four assistant coaches, instead of ten or twelve. When using a Custom tactic, all options for playstyle and player instructions are available, however, because of the assistant coach penalty, squad players will only receive a one to three point enhancement, which makes the game more difficult to play (user players make mistakes, miss shots and passes, are weaker defenders, etc.), due in part to going against the design of the game engine.
My advice would be to choose Custom, and design any tactics and player instructions that 'work' for your individual playing style. That way you can have one tactic for defense will a low defensive line and heavy defending instructions, and also, another tactic for pressing and offense attack, without having to accept the hardcoded 95 defensive line height, and limited player instructions that are associated with Gegenpressing, Counter Attack, and Kick and Rush tactics. For now, just experiment with different styles to discover the best one for you, knowing there is a comprehensive Title Update (4) being release tomorrow or Thursday, requiring everyone to restart a career mode save anyway to experience the new third and fourth kit options, Portman Road stadium, and player face scans.
On a side note, when utilizing a Custom tactic sheet, only hire 'Standard' assistant coaches. Oftentimes, when hiring assistant coaches with another style with the Custom tactic, they will denigrate two levels, instead of one; Expert level reduced to Novice. This does not happen all the time, but no need to test, especially because the game by default, offers twice as many Standard level coaches than other types.
