There is no smoothness to this game at the moment, the input delay on console and the ai actions/animations are just ridiculous I've never seen a Fifa/FC game be like this, all my players feel heavy and unresponsive to when im playing, something needs to be done. Because alot of people are already leaving/quitting due to this and they will soon switch when a better football game option is out there to play. I have saved clips on my console as im sure alot of people have so you will know exactly what the issues are, im just a regular guy who works mon-fri and when i do get the chance i love playing the game but then i play a couple of games and i come off feeling frustrated and angry because its becoming impossible to play at the moment. Please do something EA.

All I can say is that based on my experience in NA on Xbox S/X and PS5 I have more delay at 1pm than I would at 1am. I do everything I can to ensure a stable connection while gaming no matter the time of day. I notice this when I'm playing FUT, Career, Clubs and Seasons. From what I can tell This happens on PC much less. Maybe that could be from the amount of people on that platform or the hardware running the game. As for offline I have always been an avid career mode player ever since FIFA 09 and it even got me interested in trying the FM series. The offline gameplay in recent years has definitely matched whatever is happening in the gameplay online right down to delay in the commands and the random bounces that keep happening until I concede. Experiencing these issues are what forced me to give up and not buy the game.

@RadioShaqs I obviously don't speak for everyone when it comes to the servers and the gameplay, and I can only judge what I'm able to see and play myself.I can only assume that distance to a server is a factor.The data for this could easily come from a simple survey sent out to an equal amount of players in the general location of a server and players that live a considerable distance from their nearest server. This test should also be done for each region and not the player base as a whole.This is probably the best way to find out if the servers are a part of the problem.I also believe that the Frostbite game engine is a big problem. The game just hasn't felt right ever since they started using it.

And it comes from the way defense is set up, EA's ideology around defense.It dawned on me today that there are so many penalties for attacking, from passing to first touch to extremely slow animations when you try to forwards with the ball at your feet, being dragged away from the ball in a half-circle by some force, players running away from loose balls in the box, you running past forwards or forwards sprinting backwards, attackers purposely drifting offside even when it makes no sense why they did that etc. What EA would call "realism". However none of that "realism" applies to the defensive side of the game.The defense is routinely pulled towards the ball, they run directly onto the ball often faster than the fastest attackers, they sprint full speed from every angle and put in perfect tackles, sometimes they can even miss the ball and not give away penalties, freeze in front of you when you tackle them and knock you over, run into you, stamina has ZERO effect on them, spamming non stop tackles & recovering instantly etc.I've mentioned this before even some of the most common goals stem from defensive actions some weak forward bulldozing a CDM, Fullback or CB.

@lansenyl I don’t disagree with him saying he has no delay on pc and it’s not a server issue. He is really sticking his neck out to say that as so many others make their money off pumping up the delay.

Rush is one of the biggest L's I've ever seen:
Full of rubber banding as people just farm for Evo Objs or Rush objectives. They could easily fix it by making it about winning. Get X amount of wins, remove the get 70k points thing and leave it at that. But they won't.

@lansenyl What is going on. All the top streamers youtubers are realizing there is no delay and servers are fine. Sure consoles are capped at a lower fps. I don’t know why this is all so new and it took them all so long to come around. Ea has been saying servers are fine for years.

@RadioShaqs The delay is not as bad when playing on PC. It still happens on console, NickRTFM literally says he would have stayed on the console versions of the game if it wasn't for having less delay on his $3000 PC. He still has a rough time playing on PC because of the issues in the engine itself.

Regardless of what EA say about the servers it's obvious they need to be looked into more.

I honestly have no idea what servers or device you play on but if it's good enough for you then great. It clearly isn't an enjoyable experience for most other people.

@lansenyl They think it might be the fps on console not sure. Don’t you think that’s crazy everyone is saying there are no server problems? That’s a big shift in thinking coming from them. They are not wrong about the servers though they make a good point.

@RadioShaqs The delay isn't due to the servers, the delay is in the game itself and the time the game takes to respond to commands from controllers.

The game literally takes a few milliseconds to realise I have moved the sticks or pressed a button. That's where the delay is coming from.
