Heading

EA really need to fix the heading on fc25. It’s awful and tbh ruining the game. You can’t cross a ball in or cross because you know that you aren’t going to score from a header. I have had it where my striker is on his own, keeper no where near and he fluffs it and it goes nearer the corner flag. Shambles

They really need to find a balance for headers, they nerfed them due to certain players being nearly unbeatable in the air, and the fact that they were too accurate and powerful. However, now you're lucky if you even get your header on taraget using precision shooting and timed finishing. Don't get me wrong headers are a tough finish in real life aswell, but these headers are a bit beyond a joke to be honest.

As the people at EA sports know, no one has ever scored a header. It is simply impossible to do, and possibly illegal. That's why the Devs have chosen to accurately portray this in the game. The latest updates to the game are simply wonderful and have been carefully implemented and tested, so we should all cheer and wonder in amazement to the quality of the work being done on this glorious game,

Personally, I think it is that they are protecting the virtual players from the risk of concussion. If we know headers are terrible then we won't want to use them, thus less chance of virtual concussion. Maybe virtual concussion is the reason our players behave in funny ways some times? Who knows.

That's another possibility, I often worry about my virtual players and their virtual mental health... The fear of getting a virtual concussion seems to be a major factor in the game.

Could this be one of the reasons the virtual players refuse to follow simple input commands? Or could there be a full fledged virtual rebellion on the way where the players go on strike?

As always I'm completely in awe of the devs and all the brilliant things they come up with to make a brilliant game even better.

I really must apologise, I completely neglected to think of their virtual mental health. We have no clue what happens to them while we are bouncing back and forth in the menus.

It is possible it's why they fail simple passes amongst other things, in that case though it would also appear that virtual concussion is possibly contagious. Every year new players come in but are afflicted with the same issues. As for virtual rebellion it is definitely a possibility, after the working conditions are absolutely terrible. My players are about to play 12 games in the next couple of hours, let alone within a month or so.

Honestly, I believe the thought that goes into the game is much deeper than we can possibly comprehend. They have accounted for unseen injuries, players mental conditions, and possible behind the scenes plotting amongst them. It really is shocking that so much could be put into one game.

Readey83 apologies for hijacking your post for some banter.
