Guys, how do i defend ?
more specific, how do i move ? My players always seems to do a semi kind of jockey movement, even when i dont press L2.
also, are you supposed to push the left stick all the way to the edges while moving around, or only move it lightly, or a mix ?
Jockey and swap between 2-3 defenders and try to pinch the person with the ball. Then swap to a further defender like a cb while holding teammate contain to make the interception. Anders is probably the best at doing it.
What about the left stick ?
It depends on each situation. You need to hover jockey which is like a circle where you are neither committing forward or backwards. Then you also need to learn the gas and brake jockey if they are doing pop and locks. The key is learning the timing of commenting forward for either the tackle or the interception. When you pinch in and they are passing from fullback to their striker you need to switch to the cb and commit jockey for the interception. You either leave them open for an easy goal or you get a turnover with an easy goal the other way.
Basically don't bother , just let the ai do everything while you run around in circles like a demented crab spamming the tackle button like a lunatic

And Recently i have switched to tactical defending and it is much better than advanced defending as You Only have to focus on 1 button instead of choosing different type of tackle
