Rivals matches you by the same skill level. Friendlies and wl are all by form. Which would give you matches against pros. They should do away with form but streamers and pros like casual matches in those modes.
More offline modes with rewards is an easy solution, of course people are going to want to win. They made it where that mode is the only way to be successful, the game is all about competition and not fun. At this point, players should demand salary, a sanctioned competitive sport, what makes "pro" players so special If that's what everyone is doing?
As a casual player myself, I feel that we are definitely underappreciated, when casual players are the ones who brought this franchise to where it is globally.
