And to make it worse, these YouTubers and their followers were moaning that defending was overpowered and people need to learn to defend manually yet when the Refresh patch made it in to a pong pong, arcade s* fest a lot of the responses were that this is how it should be, you don't even have to think when passing, shooting or dribbling it should just work without effort - ironic and embarrassing comments.
As you said, only 1 or 2 games on the market who aim to replicate the beautiful game as a simulation so it's so frustrating to have to buy a game that was on the right track and then to endure this garbage because people want to abuse the gameplay.
I don't blame the community, however, to each their own but I would blame EA for mis-selling and false advertising - they are hiding from that like cowards after acknowledging my thread few weeks ago.
They have both gameplay mechanics now - pre and post Refresh patch so why not at least allow the option to revert to pre Refresh patch at least for offline modes so those that were enjoying the non-arcady gameplay can at least go back to enjoying that?
