Matchmaking settings on FC25 Seasons is broken

Myself included. Fed up of the Ultimate Team bs, I decided to hop onto Seasons yesterday, because that generally feels smoother and works better than UT. Instead of playing with the usual Man City, France, Real Madrid etc, I wanted to play as Bournemouth, a team who I don't support, but do enjoy watching in the PL. I played two games, one against Liverpool, the other against Real Madrid. 

I won both games but that's not the point. The player using Real Madrid eventually started spamming Power Shots from 35 yards and scored two, almost clawing back into the game, after I had gained a substantial lead. 

The matchmaking needs to be fixed. In the older FIFA games, Seasons used to be amazing. You'd play against people with similar level teams, but nowadays, you come up against the same 4/5 teams and have done for years.

Same here. This issue is so annoying.

In fairness, that issue is actually solved for me now. Started working a few weeks after I posted here (!) as long as I have ‘restrictive’ on now I will get a game that matches my teams ranking. Sometimes it takes awhile to get a game but at least they’re fair matches now… 

What is a new frustrating issue, mind you, is that it’s just not recording some results in Seasons (?) and the most frustrating thing generally is that the gameplay is totally banjaxed. Passes not going where they’re supposed to, players running out of position etc. I’m sure it’s worse the last few weeks than it’s been since the game came out… is that possible?

This was also the case in the previous fifa's. Its very annoying, as the only team you are matching with are 5 stars teams. This also happens if you put matchmaking of team quality to strict. That setting changes nothing imo. You just can't play with your favorite team, because you are always matched with the best teams in the game. I woul love to wait for 3mins of matchmaking to just face a serie B team instead of Real every game.
