Matchmaking settings on FC25 Seasons is broken

I don't trust matchmaking -  I've messaged people I've played and they are not even in my Division. About 2 hours ago i played a guy and he wasted me 5-0 so i messaged him to get some tips, He said his 3 divisions above me, :(
