3 games in a row I have matched to people not in my division they have sent evidence they are not in my division and it's happened every time I get to one game away from being promoted!!!! Absolutely...

I doubt EA will ever confirm this, but when you’re playing for promotion you will always face someone from a higher division. Sort of like a “final boss” to see if you can compete there.
Also, people tend to forget that everyone who used to be in Elite got relegated to Div 2 and a lot of them are still there because they’re mostly facing other Elite opponents.
If you’re struggling now, trust me, you don’t want to get promoted. You’ll face these opponents every single game.. it’s rough out there.
