Opponent Quits and Still Wins

So i was playing this game on UT.

The opponent scores a goal on the 4th minute, gets his CB sent off on 7th minute for tackling my striker on clear goal, his another CB gets yellow on 10th minute for similar situation, gives away an obvious goal freekick on the edge of the box, and rage quits on 9:23 game minute.

But, the game shows I still lost? How come? Why did i lose even though he quit? 

I am a decent player. I might not be on the top players list but I play good. Its hard to get a wining streak on UT already and even if I do get it, the game shows I lost the connection (even though I have a good internet connection). This has happened multiple times. And now, I lose an obvious win, that too when an opponent quits? 

This is so not fair. I have been playing FIFA since FIFA02, for as long as I can remember. I got PS5 just to play FIFA (or FC25 whatever). I do not even play anything else as much as I play FIFA, but now I have started to hate the game. 

Sorry, but I don't love you anymore FIFA.
