pc ea app download error

Hi all, when attempting to download the EA SPORTS FC 25 Closed beta on the EA App on PC, I was met with a download error. I then tried to cancel the download and restart it, however the beta shows up in library greyed out. I can't select anything related to it and therefore can't download it, and none of the workarounds that people have been able to use on console work.

ea app only lets you download the beta once it goes up usually was the same last year

i've redeemed my code and have got the game but everytime i go to download it, it just says download error, is this just me or whatZ
