Players don't defend in fc 25 old gen

The defending in this game is horrible.From ai defenders not defending midfielders standing still and not helping with anything it's impossible to not rage at. I set my fullbacks to defend yet ingame...

In Customise > Gameplay switch to legacy defending and the teammates start tackling
