I have to disagree with your pov. Comparing FC 24 with the current title, there has been improvement of gameplay, a return to basic shooting and difficulty added to corner kicks. In previous titles, shooting for example had a higher goal rate when finessed/ using trivela. In this title you simply shoot and score. That was missed, it's back to basics there.
I get your disappointment, i wasn't excited about the prior two editions released. I even considered eFootball and only recently purchased FC 25, for all that's currently available, it's decent. Some listening was done and there is improvement.
