Has the feedback been passed on to the team at least?
Will something be done about it? or have EA presented a game to people, taken their money, changed it to the point where many don't enjoy it anymore and now ignoring them?
This isn't about one person, creating a post, it's about 100s on here just in the last month not happy with the updated gameplay and probably 1000s who are not on this forum not happy with EA changing the gameplay to something they didn't pay for.
I'm not sure if you're still waiting for specifics but it's all gone quiet here, leading me to believe EA don't care after all about their paying customers? If you need specific then here they are but essentially we just want the option to revert to the previous gameplay patch.
- Pace of the game is UNREALISTICALLY fast
- Dribbling is so UNREALISTICALLY close, unnaturally tight and unvaried that even centre backs feel like Messi. Dribbling is far too easy when it's supposed to be associated with a handful of players throughout history who make it look easy. Dribbling is just ridiculously easy and unnatural. The ball never leaves the players foot further than a foots length.
- First touch is so UNREALISTICALLY close. There is no variation at all. Every pass is controlled like it's glued to the players foot. When controlling or running with the ball, it feels like you're moving with the ball attached to you rather than feeling like it's a separate entity. It feels so awful that this alone makes me shut the game down.
- Passing is so UNREALISTICALLY quick and precise that every team can play like prime Barcelona.
- Turns are so UNREALISTICALLY tight that if you rotate the analogue stick 360 and at different angles quickly, all players seem like they are having a seizure and about to collapse from the biomechanic defying, sonic speed movement.
- Shooting at times is UNREALISTICALLY accurate. There is no variation to shots from similar positions. To get a shot off quickly, players again miss a step, similar to when passing.
- Heading is UNREALISTICALLY inaccurate.
- General animations are UNREALISTICALLY awful and cringe worthy and this is to allow for the UNREALISTICALLY fast paced passing, biomechanics-defying turning, Messi-like dribbling etc to work.
- Player movements are generally UNREALISTIC in terms of them skating and skipping movements or planting their feet on the ground.
- Through balls are UNREALISTICALLY easy and scripted and at times isolate the defender to their spot so the attacker can go through on goal.
- Sliders have little or no impact on the UNREALISTIC gameplay. They also revert to default it seems in career mode.
- General gameplay seems to have been dumbed down. I used to play between World Class and Legendary and now play Ultimate, and you can still do things without any thought process which makes the game boring very quickly.
These are some of the key points that need addressing so this game doesn't feel more like FIFA Street, and does feel more like a simulation and how it was initially advertised and presented to those that parted with their money.
As mentioned by many, the gameplay just before this awful Refresh patch was on the right track.
Let me know what EA intend to do about it or if they just don't give a toss. Either way it will allow me and many others on here to understand where we stand with EA.
